A business or company that supports causes by offering rewards, funding challenges, or creating aligned campaigns. Also referred to as a sponsor when offering coupons or incentives.
There are two types of badges:
- Standard Good Standing Badges: Given to artists, ambassadors, or earned by completing challenges in major causes such as hunger, wellness, or literacy.
- Organization-Specific Badges: Assigned by organizations to recognize special roles or contributions (e.g., Board Member, Steward, Top Volunteer, Intern, Mentor).
The broader issue being addressed - used to categorize tasks and challenges. Examples: Hunger Relief, Mental Health, Housing, Education.
A grouped set of tasks that users complete for a reward - created by a brand and often promoted by an ambassador. Example: Complete 10 tasks in May to support food access.
A digital or physical reward (discount, free item, etc.) that can be:
- Unlocked by completing specific tasks or challenges
- Purchased by users to support a specific cause or organization
Coupons are provided by brands and aligned with relevant causes.
A nonprofit or local group that lists real-world tasks and receives volunteer support. They power the system with tasks, organize them by projects, and track impact.
A collection of related tasks organized by an organization with a shared goal or timeline. Examples: 'Holiday Gift Drive,' 'Back to School Prep,' or 'Community Cleanup Week.'
An individual action a user can complete - submitted by an organization. Examples: Deliver meals, organize supplies, volunteer 1 hour, translate a flyer. Tasks can be listed individually or grouped by project (e.g. 'Fall Food Drive' or 'Winter Shelter Prep').
