Don't send it to your Boomer parents, however, they'll just tell you to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and walk into your desired place of employment and demand a job (that no longer exists), like they did in the '70s and '80s. These articles get clicks because they do tap into something truthful, but ultimately, they put the doom in doom scroll.
